Cybercriminals are looking for ways to gain access to our confidential information, even from our social media account, mobile and removable devices such as smartphones, laptops, tablets, and USB sticks. Our devices can give them access to the information or even be used to distribute malware or viruses. Please check a short video to learn more.
Tips on how to protect confidential information:
• Do not talk about confidential information in public places.
• When you are connecting to WiFi in public places, always connect to secure, protected Wi-Fi hotspots
• Review confidential access and make sure only authorized people access sit.
• Do not share confidential information on social media.
• Before leaving your desk, lock your computer screen.
• While leaving the printer bay, pick up all the printouts immediately after printing.
